The Marble & Granite Centre Ltd is one of the UK s leading wholesalers of marble, granite, limestone and slate random slabs and tiles to trade customers. We supply stonemasons and fabricators throughout the UK.
We are a family owned business established in 1993, with four generations of industry experience. We employ 16 staff (many of them have been with the company for more than 10 years) and enjoy growing sales.
We are now able to offer a sound grounding in all areas of sales, marketing and business development to a high calibre graduate, who we hope will continue to grow with the business.

You will be involved in all aspects of increasing sales and how a small but successful business is run. This will include:
Providing support to the sales team both in terms of admin support and dealing with incoming sales calls and with initiating telephone contact with new and prospective customers
Completion and maintenance of our website this will include real time information on stock and availability
Internet marketing e-shots, twitter, facebook

You will be a recent graduate, articulate and with excellent communication and presentation skills. Highly motivated and committed to customer service, with a high level of commercial awareness.
Your CV will demonstrate that you have actively sought positions of responsibility and leadership, whether at work, on a voluntary basis or at university.
You will have a clean driving licence with your own vehicle (or an intention to buy one!)
You will have an understanding of how to utilise the web and new media to increase sales
You will have an interest in photography much of the website work will involve taking quality photos of our products as they come in to stock
