Job Title: New Business Executive
Windsor moving to Henley mid to late 2012
Pitney Bowes Software are looking to hire a New Business Executive, who will work in the Marketing Department and be
responsible for the generation and qualification of sales leads through qualified sales opportunities for handover to the
regional sales teams in line with required targets.
Building relationships & trust requires consistent and ongoing dialogue via multiple channels. The main interaction
channels in this role include telephone, e-mail, social media and events. The successful candidate will research and
identify sales prospects, research vertical pains and ambitions, qualify leads generated from marketing activities,
execute lead generation campaigns, nurture customer prospects, deliver qualified sales opportunities and consistently
interact in social media to educate and validate our market presence.
The New Business Executive will be:
* Responsible for achieving the agreed lead generation target which based on the number of qualified opportunities
handed over to the sales team on a monthly basis.
* Responsible for creating and implementing the agreed outbound call lead generation campaigns in line with objectives.
* Responsible for creating all required scripts and collateral to support outbound call lead generation campaigns.
* Responsible for ensuring that the CRM database is kept up-to-date with all activity at all times.
* Responsible for nurturing enterprise sales opportunities within a pipeline of 250+ accounts
* Working closely with the marketing team to execute all the outbound call, social media, email & event lead generation
activities. Plan annual campaigns with marketing to execute right message to right customer at the right time.
* Working closely with the sales teams to ensure that their lead generation requirements are defined and agreed and
that there is an effective handover of qualified opportunities. Work to agree future campaigns and messaging around
pains/ambitions of specific vertical requirements
The success candidate will have the following Competencies and experience:
* Ability to use Internet & Customer Relationship Management software
* Experienced at building relationships & trust (B2B and/or B2C)
* Experience and aptitude in cold, warm & closing telephone conversations.
* Ability to manage and maintain several campaigns & multiple accounts
* Preferably educated to degree level.
Previous Experience
* A minimum of two years experience in sales, telemarketing or marketing
* Proven ability to generate revenue and relationships via Tele-marketing and/or Telesales
* It would be advantageous to have experience or skills within Customer service, marketing, social media or external
sales

The successful candidate is likely to have very strong interpersonal and communication skills. They are likely to pay
close attention to detail and be meticulous in the organization of their work. They will be able to demonstrate the
ability to think on their feet and to respond effectively to problematic or difficult questions as well as to engage,
influence and persuade potential customers. They are likely to have an intrinsic interest in the CRM and IT sectors
and will demonstrate a keenness to learn about the Company's product as well as the vertical markets into which it is
sold. They will show their ability to work on their own initiative whilst building strong working and business
relationships with those they communicate with.
