DAB Radio Technical & Operational Specialist - DAB/FM/AM
We are currently recruiting for a DAB Radio Technical & Operational Specialist to work with a leading telecommunications company in Berkshire. Working within the Sales and Marketing department, the role will be as a consultant to the whole business area for Radio Broadcast. They will be consulting on vendor selection of radio equipment and services.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable knowledge and working experience of DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) networks, including:
* Radio propagation and planning methodologies
* Network design principles and practises
* Management and telemetry system, design, deployment and operations
* Equipment specification and evaluation in support of procurement
* Site design and implementation (including outside plant and equipment environment)
* Equipment deployment, integration and testing
* Network Operations and Maintenance principles and practises (legacy first generation DAB to current practises)
* Network upgrade and refresh programmes
