They are looking to recruit experienced solicitors with demonstrable experience of working on either shipping or energy litigation. This role offers the rare opportunity to work on both shipping and energy disputes, involving a mixture of advising clients on charter party disputes, shipbuilding and cargo claims, in addition to handling energy and offshore disputes covering areas such as the breakdown of machinery, the sinking of offshore installations and litigation arising from offshore pollution. The firm has several European and International offices which the successful candidate will liaise with frequently, with the opportunity for overseas visits being a strong likelihood. As such, language skills and previous experience of international arbitration would be highly advantageous.
