Systems Engineer
Farnborough

Systems Engineer: A major Engineering organisation are looking to secure the services of a Systems Engineer at their site in Farnborough

Systems Engineer Responsibilities:
* Performs technical planning
* System integration, verification and validation,
* Cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
* Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
* Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
* Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Systems Engineer Required Skills:
* Process standards including CMMI and the MoD AOF, development and design methodologies, process implementation, management and improvement including process tailoring.
* Requirements development and management including capture, mission requirements transformation, analysis and decomposition, documentation, traceability, assessment, validation change impact analysis and their associated methods.
* Technical risk and opportunity assessment
* Configuration and Data Management
* Root cause analysis
* Decision analysis (problem definition, method selection and execution).
* Enterprise Analysis (operational concept development including mission profiles, operational scenarios/use cases stakeholder and mission needs analysis operational effectiveness definition and evaluation and stakeholder needs transformation)
* Computer architecture approaches - client server, open, SOA etc. and design concepts including digital systems, basic data structures, databases, operating systems, system organisation, graphics, communications and networks system and software architecture development including synthesis, modelling, evaluation, description, assessment, analysis of alternatives and their associated methods - OOA, trade studies etc. system, software and information assurance)
* Verification and Validation
* Quality assurance, product and process control.

The successful candidate will be required to achieve SC security clearance prior to starting!!
