IT manager required to join a leading insurance company from their offices based in central Bournemouth.
The role of IT Manager will involve being responsible for the planning, direction, management and oversight of all activities and operations of the IT department. You will be managing various departments including infrastructure support, desktop and helpdesk support, software development and software testing. You will be responsible for the overall IT budget and will be expected to build and manage vendor relationships.
The correct IT Manager will have experience within a similar role and will have experience of managing and supporting a Windows based infrastructure. You will have an excellent awareness of software solutions and be aware of any new technologies that are emerging into the marketplace. Further knowledge and experience of working within a financial services company would be beneficial. Any experience of working within an ITIL framework would also be highly beneficial. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, must be impeccable.
