Introduction:
My client continues to lead the way in the manufacture and distribution of a high quality product solution to a number of
industry sectors throughout the world, They now have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join
the business in order to support their customer base, worldwide, Based in West Sussex, Reporting to the Business
Development Director, The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Gas Turbines and Gas
Compressors, Your area of responsible will be to cover the UK and the international market place.

This presents itself as an exciting opportunity to join an established company and, although not essential, could be well
suited for a person who has previously served as a Mechanical Engineer in the Armed Forces / HM Forces i.e. Royal Navy or
Royal Air Force (RAF) and has a strong technical working knowledge and understanding of Gas Turbines and Gas Compressors.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain key customer relationships.
- Identify business opportunities and generate new customer interest.
- Deliver presentations to decision makers.
- Obtain advance intelligence of future projects of interest.
- Develop an understanding of the competitive situation.
- Promote the company capabilities at trade fairs, seminars and exhibitions.
- Ensure that there are clear and frequent communications with key decision makers in the customer community and
strategic partners/organisations.
- Forge good relationships with existing and potential customers particularly with those individuals who are influential
in the award of contracts or compiling tender lists.
- Identify strategic opportunities that will lead to further development of capability and resources.
- Identify and explore all relevant opportunities for UK and Abroad.
- Flexible towards working hours and happy to travel both in the UK and worldwide when required.

Applicant Requirements:
- Previous experience as a 'hands on' Mechanical Engineer with proven technical working Knowledge and understanding of
Gas Turbines and Gas Compressor.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to pick up and deliver technical data.
- Regular travel throughout the UK and overseas.
- Valid full driving licence.
- Highly organised.
- Articulate and adaptable.
- Please note this is an office based role with travel throughout the UK, however, the Head Office is in West Sussex and
ideally the successful candidate will be within a realistic commute to the West Sussex office.
