An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a top class Semiconductor company as a Manager - Software Product Management. This role offers you the opportunity to manage, coordinate and take ownership of software support and delivery activities associated with product deliverables. The role would suit an experienced manager with an engineering and applications background.

Primary role responsibilities will include:
- Identify key skills and requirements for expansion of the PM software team in all worldwide locations and lead recruitment activities for the PM software team based on existing and projected workloads
- Manage software support activities
- Collate and own customer requirements into software product release cycles
- Work with software development and test organisations to ensure product releases match feature and schedule requirements of customers
- Coordinate and manage priorities within the PM Software team

Required Skills:
- Proven software team lead management
- Experience in senior customer facing role
- Proven ability to build and expand a team of experienced engineers
- Understanding of C-Coding design and debug techniques
- Ability to communicate technical subjects in both written and oral form
- Direct working knowledge of hardware device drivers within a high level operating system

Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of industry APIs e.g. OpenGL ES
- Understanding of Graphics or Video hardware architectures
