Our client is a part of the NHS that requires a qualified or Finalist Management Accountant for a 12-months contract. This role sits within a Financial Planning and Analysis team and has responsibility for providing advice to Dental Practice Manager so it is essential that the successful applicant has knowledge of financial and accounting procedures within Dental Services. The role is interesting and varied and includes: analysing and interpreting highly complex data and identifying the key issues; providing advice to Budget Managers regarding their individual budgets and the budget setting process; modelling the impact and cost-effectiveness; monthly financial reporting to senior management; acting as finance lead in the renegotiation or variation of contracts; attendance at key operational meetings to provide sound financial advice of new initiatives. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to discuss financial queries with non-finance staff and be capable of understanding a complex working environment.
