Lead Web Applications Developer - Bournemouth

Up to £35k (DOE) + Benefits

Our client is one of the South's leading digital agencies and they are looking for a talented, dedicated Lead Web Applications Developer to take the reigns of this most unique and challenging new comparison website.

Working as part of their lively and expert development team, as Lead Web Applications Developer, you will have a key role in developing, managing and delivering high quality web applications with additional responsibility for the technical quality of production and delivery of development on-time.

You will also communicate to the management team and your colleagues on each project's status whilst ensuring the highest level of quality in their work through code reviews, appraising technical aspects of work and monitoring efficiency against budget.

Ideally you should have a degree incorporating Software Engineering practices but this is not essential.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated, have a real passion for digital technology and enjoy working as part of a team.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will:
Have proven experience in developing and building web applications
Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of software development
Demonstrate an understanding of deployment architecture, security and performance
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

You will also need a strong working knowledge of:

Programming with VB.Net / ASP.Net
Object Oriented Design
N-Tier solution design and development
XHTML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Jquery & Prototype
IIS and server management
SQL Database design
AJAX, JSON, XML & XLST
SQL Server Management
