Head of High Frequency Trading IT Infrastructure Engineering - 90-120k+ Bonus

Location: London

A leading Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire their head of high frequency trading infrastructure (HFT) to lead a
growing global team of senior engineers that manage and develop the banks systematic/high frequency trading IT systems.

This role will include defining strategy and providing solutions for the team globally across multiple asset classes,
while also remaining hands on to drive the design and development of the trading infrastructure. This person will be an
interface between technology and the business so strong communication skills will be required.

Mixture of Skills:

* Multiple domain knowledge: Application, Middleware, OS, hardware, networks, storage and software development.

* Linux Kernals - Open source

* Low level networking and protocols

* Hardware acceleration eg fogs

* Processor architecture

* Background or exposure to Software development c/C++/Java

* Hardware/Software/Vendor research and management

* IT strategy, innovation and team leading skills

Experience within a HFT/low latency environment will be beneficial. The team are already functioning as an effective unit
and this hire will take it to the next level moving forward and allow the individual to put their stamp on the programme,
with a delivery focused approach and effective strategy and vision.
