Our client's Market Intelligence Division enjoys a high profile in the challenging world of building services technology and construction related industries. It is particularly focussed on improvements in design and operation of buildings to meet the challenges of climate change. It supplies instruments and calibration, product testing, consultancy, market intelligence and training and operates both from its laboratory and office base near Reading and through smaller offices overseas and in other locations in the UK.

Due to expansion they have a vacancy within their HVAC and renewables business where they are looking for an experienced researcher who is fluent in Spanish and who can support their multi-client portfolio with global clients such as Siemens, Honeywell, Samsung, LG, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Sanyo, and Panasonic.

Qualifications and Experience

A business or other degree. Marketing and research, preferably in business-to-business research, minimum of 3 years experience. You should also be fluent in Spanish language as well as English

You should have:Excellent research skills (investigative, problem identification and solution) Interest in UK and international research

Excellent analytical skills.Accuracy and attention to detail

The ability to work to budgets and deadlines

High commercial awareness and the ability to identify potential areas for new projects

Computer literacy (current packages used are Microsoft Word and Excel).

Technical knowledge of the building services industry and products is not necessary and should not prevent candidates from applying as training will be provided.

Benefits This is a full-time position at 37 hours per week and the salary is negotiable depending on experience with an annual performance and career appraisal. Benefits include a stakeholder pension scheme and 23 days holiday per year.
