New Business Sales Executive - Software / SaaS Sales Background - Leading Payroll Software Provider
Watford / Home Office Based
Excellent Base Salary and Commission Package

More than 40 of the top 60 practices use our software to provide bureau payroll services for their clients as well as an extensive range of employers in the financial services, general commercial and public sectors. Our software processes the pay for over 1.5 million employees a year!

Overall Objective:

To maximise the sales of our leading Payroll Software solution within designated market sectors by reaching and/or exceeding target and creating new business opportunities.

New Business Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:

> Identify and create new business opportunities
> Respond promptly to all approved payroll enquiries from any source and action to result in profitable sales through appropriate selling methods
> Where appropriate, participate in seminars, trade shows and any other suitable marketing opportunity
> Maintain good relationships with client base
> Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

Knowledge/Skills Requirement:

> Proven software sales experience in an established IT solution market preferably Payroll
> Ability to create and deliver presentations at all levels within an organisation
> Ability to prioritise opportunities and tasks
> Good communication, writing and customer service skills
> Good negotiating skills
> High level of computer literacy
> Valid driving licence
> Willingness to travel throughout UK

Personality:

> Good first impression - well dressed, confident and able to express themselves in an eloquent manner
> Outgoing
> Able to deal with a variety of people
> Calm and unruffled
> Good listening abilities and an aptitude for anticipating clients' needs and subtly directing, controlling or shifting emphasis of meeting when necessary
> Ability to think 'outside the box'
> Possesses initiative
