SQL Server 2005 / 2008 - Application Support - Technical Support - Network Support
The office is based 12 minutes away from Paddington Station
This business is soon to be worth 100 million pounds and is growing 30% every year. You will receive great technical
training - in-house training - bespoke training and external professional training.
You will be part of a team of 3 working with a number of SQL Server Based Applications and Systems and looking after 70
users in total. Basically you will need a support background with experience in SQL Server Application Support.
You will need to be able to Write in SQL Language - you need to support Data Queries - You need to be able to perform
Data Changes - You need to be able to write Stored Procedures and Triggers - You need to be able to write Tables - Update
Data - perform Data Manipulation - Perform SQL Server Problem Diagnosis and Problem Fixing / Perform Troubleshooting.
The company is expanding at a very fast rate and you will be part of a growth that will see you become one of the most
important team members in this technical team. In the next 2 years you could effectively be in charge of the growing
Application Support Team and have a real input in deciding what is the technical route that the company has to follow.
If you have experience working with SQL Server then this is the role for you and if you have SQL Server Application
Support experience this will be perfect for you.
As you will be part of a small team you will also do some general Windows Server and Desktop Support for a small user
base.
What is important here is your proactive - positive and can do attitude that is vital when you work in a small tight team
where everyone has to be able to cover for everyone else.
