Background

A company, providing comprehensive building services engineering solutions to the owners and occupiers of commercial property, is seeking an experienced and successful Building Services Business Development Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will create new business opportunities with Managing Agents, Consultant Engineers, Architects and End User Clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a Business Development Strategy for winning new business.
Establish strong relationships with new clients.
Prepare and submit winning quotations and responses to RFPs.
Keep abreast of competitor activity and developments in the marketplace.
Ensure that Senior Management is kept informed on Business Development activity on a regular basis.

Key Experience & Qualifications

Proven and successful experience gained in a Business Development function in the Building Services Industry.
A technical understanding of building services contracting.
Excellent strategic vision.
Very strong commercial awareness.
A successful track record of developing and delivering quality business opportunities.
Good career stability.
Proven sales background.
