Management Accountant

English Braids is the leading UK manufacturer for braided ropes and cords based in Malvern. We are currently seeking to
employ a Management Accountant to join the finance team within the business.

Duties will involve:

The preparation of monthly management accounts

Processing payroll for weekly paid staff

Management of company financial systems

Data integrity and system development

Compiling of reports and financial analysis

Sales and purchase ledger controls and preparation of statutory accounts.

VAT and Intrastate submissions

Streamlining current business processes

The position would suit an ambitious graduate or person that is looking to develop into part of the senior management
team within 1 to 2 years. Working closely with the finance director the successful candidate will be responsible for the
day to day financial operation of the company whilst also working as part of the team forming a group of three companies,
headed by the FD.

The right applicant for this position will be logical and methodical, be able to work on their own initiative, possess
good attention to detail and will be required to demonstrate first class accounting skills. They must be outgoing and
confident and enjoy working as part of a team.

Training will be available for the correct candidate, if required, in order to develop into the role over time. More
senior positions will also be considered as part of succession planning for a growing business.

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications but will reflect market rates.
