Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to be a member of the companies project team to ensure fulfilment of customer requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong Mechanical engineering background and the ability to interpret and understand complex engineering specifications and standards.
Requirements
CAD proficient (preferably AutoCad and/or Solidworks)
Sound working knowledge of Stainless Steel and other Corrosion Resistant Alloy metallurgy, welding and machining.
Experience of Stress Calculations
Up to date knowledge of materials and process standards as applicable to stainless steels
Experience within a regulated industry that demands compliance to detailed specifications and standards
Understanding of Project Management
Chartered Engineer status would be desirable
Job Description
Design & implement effective qualification programmes to meet industry & customer specific requirements.
Responsible for ensuring products conform to relevant standards.
Identify areas for improvement in existing mechanical design and implement effective solutions.
Assist and provide technical support to Operations on mechanical, process issues
