One of our leading Brokerage firms is looking to recruit a Credit Controller on initially a 4 month contract, but there is potential for it to move to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have brokerage or Financial Services experience and will be available on short notice. French speaking candidates would be a preference also. Responsibilities: responsible for contacting the companies customers to confirm payments and then deal with any issues preventing payment, you should be able to deal with these problems in an efficient manner; responsible for issuing invoices to customers on a monthly basis; application of cash to sales ledger and have the ability to control large value and high volume ledger. You should be able to develop relationships with customers, brokers and the middle office and have the confidence to deal with any queries. Key requirements: experience within a the Financial Services sector, ideally a Brokerage; fluency in French is essential and any other Eastern European languages would be desirable; knowledge of interest rate, cross currency and FX products desired; excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise with a range of people both from within and outside the company; you should have excellent PC skill, in particular; Excel, MS office and Oracle Financials; immediately available.
