Reporting to the Vice President & Controller, Central Accounting the EMEA SSC Accounting Manager will be responsible for responsible for overall leadership of accounting activities for business operations across 7 legal entities and lead a team of up to 10 staff. The position is responsible for a number of key accounting processes including revenue recognition and billing, receivables management, accounts payable, general accounting, taxation, regulatory and statutory audits and filings. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting on SAP in accordance with US GAAP, manage the production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other reports as required. The Director, Central Accounting EMEA will be expected to recommend methods and procedures to improve accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA) with strong technical accounting skills including US GAAP gained within an international/pan-European role. The role require strong leadership and staff development skills, the ability to work to deliver against a tight reporting timetable and desire to recommend and implement improved processes and controls. Knowledge of SAP is essential. Our client is a leading global technology business. Salary and benefits: excellent plus package and benefits.
