We require an experienced Mobile - Telecoms Lab Test Technician / Engineer for a growing and successful company based in
Hampshire, not far from Bracknell and Guildford.

The main activity of this role is to perform lab tests using GERAN conformance test equipment (Anite SAT and Anritsu
MD8480) and stand alone test (call) box (Agilent 8960). Work upon intensive test programs that need the support of a
competent tester. Areas of focus range from basic calls, through conformance testing and over the air exposure. Some log
analysis of results to generate result reports needed by on-site development team. Also the candidate will be using
in-circuit emulators (Lauterbach) to drive units under tests (UUT).

Skills:

Good grounded knowledge of commercial wireless network (e.g. UMTS) operation at the modem level (e.g. interface between
mobiles and base stations). - Exposure to communication lab equipment used to establish basics of voice calls and measure
RF performance. - Experience in handling Microsoft Window Based portable client computers.

Additional skills. not essential but preferred:

Experience with Anite SAT (GSM and GPRS/EGPRS) test equipment. Previous testing experience in mobile phone industry.

Managing wireless test equipment (configuration, setting of campaigns etc) - Setting up of client platforms used to run
automation test scripts and keep UUT logs. - Gathering of test logs according to test plan. - Presentation of test
results to an internal audience in a written and verbal manner.
