A Leading Telecommunications company is looking for a Back Office OSS Support Engineer to join its Back Office Support team based in Berkshire on a permanent basis.
The Back Office OSS Support Engineer will:
*Provide technical support and guidance for Operations and Maintenance on OSS System
*Provide back office technical support for all aspects of the Nokia NetAct in addition to Traffica, Greenplum and Velocent
*Responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on Nokia NetAct
*Interfacing with Engineering and Project Management to ensure that all technical issues that will affect the operational environment are included in acceptance testing, discussions etc
*Ensure that documentation exists to be able to audit network elements
The Back Office OSS Support Engineer will:
*Have relevant OSS qualifications
*Out of hours support as part of an on-call rota
*Experience in Back Office/3rd line Support and familiarisation with an on-call environment
*Technical knowledge of Network Element Management systems
*Nokia NetAct experience
*Knowledge of ATM and IP networks and protocols
