A market leading Financial Trading Software House requires an Application Support Analyst who is keen to learn about the Financial Markets. This is a superb opportunity for a candidate looking to progress their career by supporting a complex suite of financial trading applications.

Application Support Analyst - Key Responsibilities:

Provide first and second line technical support to demanding clients in the City
Work closely with internal development to support external clients in their production environments
Manage issues by logging all support requests and ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner, whilst juggling a variety of priorities
Resolution of issues by analysing workflows and system behaviour

Application Support Analyst - Qualifications and Experience:

Computer Science related degree. (Other subjects may also be considered depending on experience)
Practical experience of working with Windows Operating Systems
Any technical database skills (SQL / SQL Server / Oracle) would be desirable
Excellent communication skills and a level headed approach are essential
