Our Client is currently the largest national Provider of Offender Learning in the UK; their highly qualified employees
are fully trained in security arrangements in order for them to deliver a responsive curriculum within prisons across
England 52 weeks a year.

Working within the secure estate offers a challenging but extremely rewarding environment for the right candidate.

They currently require a full time Trainer in Catering to deliver high quality learner focused Vocational Training at
HMYOI Wetherby.

Emphasis is placed on trainers working in partnership with prison and probation colleagues to create a cohesive learning
journey that improves employability and contributes to the reduction of re-offending.
As directed by a Manager or Curriculum Team Leader and supported by a mentor, you will teach and provide good quality,
learner focused vocational training to meet contractual requirements and awarding body standards, in line with policies
and procedures.

The salary scale for the successful candidate will be dependent on your current qualifications. All Trainers must
demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in the Vocational area and be willing to work towards relevant
qualifications as specified in the role profile.

In order to qualify for the higher salary band 2, trainers must hold a Level 3 qualification in the relevant vocational
area and hold a relevant awarding organisation assessor award. You will also hold relevant teaching qualifications
(PTLLS, A1 Assessors (D32 TDLB Unit)) or be willing to work towards these within a specific timeframe.

To succeed within this role, candidates will need to have a pragmatic and non judgmental approach to their work and the
flexibility to adapt to meet learner requirements when necessary.
