Specialist IP solicitor position available at this acclaimed IP practice in Birmingham city centre. This dedicated,
highly regarded and specialist IP team seek to recruit a 3+ PQE IP solicitor to handle a mix of contentious and
non-contentious IP work.

This IP team delivers practical advice to help clients protect and realise the value of their intellectual property
(including patents, trademarks, design rights, copyright, database rights, know-how, and trade secrets). Many of team's
lawyers have science degrees as well as legal qualifications to help meet client challenges. They have access to an
international legal network in order to provide total cross-border solutions.

The successful candidate will be a commercial contracts solicitor with significant exposure to IP work. This exposure
will ideally be a mix of contentious and non-contentious IP however any mix of IP work will be considered as you will be
involved with all areas of IP providing advice on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The role involves
advising on IP rights, licences, assignments, trade mark matters, advertising, data protection and assisting with large
litigation matters. This role would also require the candidate to be enthusiastic towards marketing and business
development.
