Senior Hardware Design Engineer
Hertfordshire

A leading international technology company are currently recruiting for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to be based at their offices in Hertfordshire.

As the Senior Hardware Design Engineer you will be involved in working with the architect to define module level architecture and documenting these specifications whilst also converting the architecture into RTL, considering constraints such as area, speed, power. You will be working at the leading edge of ASIC design with the most advanced video algorithms and methodology, and develop state of the art video processing blocks that become part of the IP cores used by top tier suppliers.

The Senior Hardware Design Engineer will essentially have the following key skills;
- Excellent knowledge of digital design techniques
- Proficient in RTL design
- Familiar with ASIC design process
- Have a clear understanding of SOC architecture
- Familiar with unix/linux
- Scripting: Perl, TCL, make and chsell
