Process Engineer
Are you a Process Engineer looking to join a rapidly expanding electronics company in Oxfordshire? You will work on providing `front line` hands on engineering support to the production area. The job will involve the following responsibilities:
- Investigation and resolution of production problems affecting output.
- Training of production staff involved in assembly, test etc.
- Create, check and issue work instructions, BOMs and drawings.
- Purchase develop and maintain equipment such as jigs for use in production.
- Manage the resolution of issues caused by obsolescence of parts.
- Represent the production on R&D projects to aid in the development of new products.
- Manage the transfer of R&D developments into production.
Candidates for this role will need to have at least 3 years experience of working in a Process Engineering role gained in an electronics based industry. You will need to provide `hands on` support to the shop floor with a strong working knowledge of electronics. Candidates will also ideally have a HNC or above with experience of working in a lean manufacturing environment.
Salary for the role is dependant on experience and will range from 25k-30k + an 8% performance related bonus and a discretionary profit shared bonus scheme.
