To support the field service teams and Resource Management planning teams.
To despatch field technicians to attend to customer visits and record activity carried out by booking off the call
accurately into the Call Management system.
Responsibilities and Tasks: To take calls from technicians which include queries on costs of parts, requests to book
requests to be allocated further calls.
To allocate service calls using the most appropriate resource as well as minimising travel times and ensure effective
machine maintenance, with particular reference to training records.
To take calls from customers relating to expected times of arrival and queries regarding these calls.
To ensure that information is recorded accurately on oracle including service call information and Gantt chart
information.
To liaise where necessary with other departments including the contact centre, Inventory Service Billing, Sales Support
and Collections/Credit Control.
To support the other planners and cover for planning duties as and when required.
To monitor call activity and the number of calls left open at a specific level.
To encourage technician off calls in a timely manner.
To escalate issues appropriately to a Senior Planner / Team Leader.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in Call Management Systems.
Ability to demonstrate communicating clearly and concisely, input data accurately and navigate the appropriate Call
Management System.
Previous experience in a customer service environment.

Salary - 16,495 to 17,412 pro rata - Fixed term contract until 31 Dec 2012
