As Technical Sales & Business Development Manager you will be identifying, developing and maintaining business with both new and existing customers and organisations.
Within this role your duties will include:
* Obtaining and assessing potential business opportunities
* Developing and maintaining effective business relationships
* Ensuring customers needs and aspirations are communicated and coordinated internally
* Market research for product and strategy decisions
* Striving to perform activities to identify and position the company, its future products and capability into a potentially winning position
* Leading the preparation and submission of bids, quotes and proposals
* Concise record keeping, maintaining an up to date, accurate and complete database (AX RF) of opportunities
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate the following:
* The ability and motivation to work under minimal supervision
* Confidence and adaptability, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Full competence in the use of PC's and Microsoft Office applications
* Education to a minimum of HNC in an engineering discipline in order to ensure ability to support technical matters
The following attributes are highly advantageous although not essential for the role:
* Proven capability of business winning
* Exposure and/or experience of military or commercial Avionic systems, Optronic systems and associated technologies
* Bid management and programme management experience
Permanent role
Salary: From £38,000 per annum dependent on current level of experience
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: St Asaph
