Software Tester - QA Test Engineer - London - 44 - 45K + benefits package with web testing and software testing experience to be responsible for the full life cycle of test and quality assurance by providing an independent test and analysis function in the release process.
As a Software Tester - QA Test Engineer - Performance Testing you will come from a software and web testing background with knowledge of Performance Testing with Silk Performer and Loadrunner, QTP and DSDM methodology. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and skill-set in test analysis and writing test plans, test cases and executing tests.
Responsibilities include:
The QA Test Engineer will work closely with the development team to test newly developed software, existing software upgrades and deployments
The Test Analyst will endeavour to use automated tools to enhance testing efficiency and identify venerable areas of software to report back to a development team
Test Consultant will evaluate, troubleshoot and test the software. Any software errors are logged, prioritised and tracked by programmers
What I'm looking for:
Experience with HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) and HP Quality Centre
Knowledge of Performance Testing with Silk Performer and Loadrunner
Ability to write test plans, test cases and executing tests
Experience and willingness to conduct manual testing
Strong communication skills required to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
