SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS ENGLISH TEACHER (SEN)

Are you a SEN specialist or have a genuine desire to use your English teaching skills in this sector?

We have a stimulating and challenging job opportunity to work alongside secondary aged children with SEN. This is a permanent position starting from September, in the Haywards Heath area of West Sussex.

We are currently looking to meet individuals who are innovative, self-motivated and can deliver and meet the expectations set by the school. It is essential to hold Qualified Teacher Status, and have previously taught English. Experience working with children who have special educational needs such as ESBD is desirable, as developing teaching techniques to suit individual needs will be important.

Your intuition will focus and engage your pupils in the small and dynamic classes of up to nine pupils. You will be encouraging educational, social and emotional growth of each student, tailored specifically to their personal needs. Within the safe and secure environment of this school, you will benefit from a supportive community where you can assist students with their education and help them to overcome any barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will be comfortable in a SEN environment, and be seeking an opportunity to develop or further their career within a SEN setting. This is a permanent contract, and could be a very rewarding position.
