The organisation is experiencing a growing order book and is optimistic regarding its future prospects. The company now wishes to appoint a Controller into a broad role to support the MD in the achievement of profitable growth. Working closely with the Managing Director, and leading a Finance team of 2, this 'hands-on role' will include all aspects of financial control as well as taking a lead role in other area such as IT and Admin. This Controller role will very much be a key member of the Senior Management team. The successful candidate will most likely be a qualified Accountant with knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Manufacturing sector. This role combines the production of the numbers, and the identification and management of manufacturing KPIs, eg, profitability by product etc, as well as managing relationships with Auditors, tax authorities. The successful candidate will most likely be a qualified Accountant with commercial acumen, who seeks a broad role able to combine an attention to detail with the big picture.
