Separate Reality is a small, friendly, dynamic, team orientated company that values it's employees.

We are currently recruiting for either a talented senior Java developer with aspirations to become a scrum master, or an
established scrum master with a deep Java technical background and hands-on attitude, to join a small agile team in
central Newcastle.

The company provides innovative web-based CRM solutions for some of the leading telecommunication companies throughout
the world. We work alongside, and in partnership with the leading global billing solution providers and systems
integrators in the industry and have had considerable success and growth over the last 3 years.

The company has a strong international presence and is currently heavily involved in projects in EMEA, APAC and Latin AM
- so there are loads of international travel opportunities!

This is a very rare opportunity.

Specifically the role will involve working as part of a close-knit team in an agile scrum methodology, co-ordinating the
sprints, acting as a technical authority and programming parts of the solution.

Desirable technical skills are:
j2ee, XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, UNIX, SQL, Apache Wicket, EJB3, JORAM, Ant, UML and working with APIs. Good grasp of software
methodologies. Certification is a plus.

Excellent communication and client facing skills are essential.

The successfully candidate will enjoy working with technology, solving problems and will be eager to learn. They will
join a team of world class industry experts who value creative and proactive thinking.

Languages are a plus.
