Law Costs Draftsperson: This is a chance for an experienced Law Costs Draftsperson to join an expanding Cost Management team within a leading Insurance Litigation firm. The successful candidate will be attending to Solicitors' files and preparing costs claims for submission to opposing Solicitors or the Courts. Candidates applying at the senior level will ideally have the ALCD qualification, however this is not essential.
Law Costs Draftsman (all levels) - Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates will have at least 6 months experience working in a Costs environment.
- Handle own caseload of Personal Injury Law Cost claims.
- Undertake negotiations and advocate claims when required.
- Working as part of a large team considering bills and schedules of costs.
- Formulating offers and negotiating settlements.
- Experience of drafting Points of Dispute and dealing with court applications, as well as advocacy will be an advantage.
