VBA (in Excel) Analyst



I am currently looking for a VBA (in Excel) Analyst. Your role will include taking responsibility for automating manual
process using Macros. In addition you will be developing reports using Jet Enterprise The business is in the Telecom
space with a Euro 100 million annual turnover.




Key Responsibilities:





* Responsible for the automation of manual process by writing macros and changing process.


* Production of scoping document for approval by FD.


* Ensure that a robust planning document produced for execution to a pre defined deadline.


* Responsible for ensuring key month end tasks are automated.


* Responsible for ensuring common reports are set up using Jet Enterprise, NAV and Sales force.


* Continually challenge and improve control environment by focussing on process improvement and increasing the level of
management and exception reporting available.


* Be a key point of contact for the Management Accountants and controllers in the business.


* Play a proactive role in the improving of the reporting and underlying systems to support the reporting.


* Develop a full set of documented policies & procedures Ad hoc duties and queries as required.




The ideal candidate will have:




* Recognised accountancy qualification.


* Excellent Excel skills, able to interrogate and audit existing workbooks.


* VBA in Excel and Jet Enterprise Essential.


* Fluent English essential.


* Fluent German preferential.


* Systems understand and knowledge Essential.




Experience:




* Ability to thrive under pressure and operate effectively within a cross functional team.


* High Standards of accuracy.


* Good analytical skills.


* Experience of working with Sales force, Financial Force Jet Enterprise and NAV in a finance environment.
