Our client specialise in the provision of managed services for all aspects of production equipment maintenance within a
diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic
growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly self motivated senior multi discipline maintenance
technician to complement the activities of an established and successful team.

As a hands-on engineer you will be responsible for undertaking advanced and expert level trouble shooting, fault find,
diagnosis, repair, maintenance and reconditioning activities on a diverse range of machinery (not limited to CNC) and
mechanical equipment including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machinery and equipment,
necessitating working both autonomously and as part of a team within a busy maintenance environment on both planned
preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

As a senior engineer, you will provide leadership and assistance to less experience technicians and will actively utilise
Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma to progress the maintenance function, whilst communicating effectively and
professionally with the site customer at all times regarding repair steps taken, parts ordered and estimated time of work
completion. You will liaise closely with the supply chain function to order supplies and repair items as required, and
will effectively work as a proactive project manager, analysing and recommending engineering solutions to failures whilst
being able to lay out , wire, build and trouble shoot electrical panels and other equipment as required.

and support again and again, and due to the varied and challenging nature of the position, will be qualified to at least
HND level in a relevant engineering discipline and will have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship
encompassing electrical, mechanical or manufacturing aspects alongwith a minimum of 5 years dedicated and relevant
experience within a commercial environment.

Essentially you will possess a driving licence and will be able to operate CNC controls in maintenance mode, and be able
to demonstrate an advanced level of understanding of complex operating systems. Familiarity with CMMS (SAP preferred) and
the MS suite of packages will prove distinctly advantageous.
