Our client designs and manufactures electronic equipment for a global market. We are currently seeking a Production
Engineer, preferably with Electronics production experience, to work within their busy Manufacturing team.

The Production Engineer will be involved in the introduction of new products into Production and support of existing
products. You will liaise internally with Engineering, Purchasing, Test Engineering and Production to transition the new
products into manufacturing. You will be involved in the writing and control of build instructions, test procedures,
drawings and data files.

Main Responsibilities:
* Responsible for improving productivity in manufacturing of existing product, and introduction of agreed manufacturing
strategy
* Accurate data entry into SAP for material master data, bills of materials, routings and drawings
* Supply manufacturing information to relevant business areas both internally and externally and to Vendors and Customers
as required
* To issue and control production build instructions, concessions and TDRs
* Inform Vendors of engineering changes
* Work with Vendors to resolve production issues
* To improve the internal efficiency of engineering data administration releasing more time to process improvement
* Applying Lean Principles and implementing Continual Improvement activities
* Responsible for the quality of the PCBAs and box build of designated product lines
* Assist when necessary in any tasks within the production engineering function


Skills/Experience (some of the following would be beneficial):
Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in an electronics discipline
SMT Reflow and Wave solder experience preferred
Use of Analytical Quality Tools experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
