Test Manager - Consultancy - London, UK

A leading software and testing consultancy based in central London is currently looking to recruit a Test Manager to their rapidly expanding consultancy team. This is a highly influential role and is an opportunity for an experienced tester/manager to develop their career quickly within a fast paced, forward thinking organisation.

The role of Test Manager will involve joining an established team of highly talented testers and developers providing development and test solutions to a range of blue chip organisations with a particular focus on banking and financial services. You will lead teams of developers (often between 5-15 at a time) as well as being responsible for putting together test strategies, process improvement techniques and test project management. You will be fully involved in pre-sales and client facing consultancy working directly with senior stakeholders as a key advisor on test related issues. You will work on a wide and varied number of projects and this kind of variety should excite. This is a great opportunity for a junior test manager to develop their career quickly with one of the countries leading software and test based consultancies!

To be considered for the role you must have:

- Experience of managing test teams (ideally of more than 5 people)
- Experience of designing and implementing test strategies
- Test project management experience
- Hands on technical testing background
- Knowledge of automated testing
- Batch processing experience
- First class communication skills
- Strong educational background

The ideal candidate will also have experience within the consultancy and/or banking/finance sectors. Experience with agile, RUP or related methodologies is also highly desirable, as is any pre-sales experience. Offshoring experience is also a bonus.
