The Person
We are looking for an experienced Process / Project Engineer to join our team.
To carry out this role it is essential you have experience of process plant and sterile design, as well as knowledge of
pilot or demonstration scale rigs and biotech facilities. Likely to be a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a degree in
Chemical or Process Engineering, you will have industrial or semi-technical experience and be able to adapt design to
meet customer demands.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer, you will act as lead Process Engineer for new designs and plant modifications,
coordinating other engineering disciplines. You will be required to lead process engineering projects to support the
plants and facilities operated by CPI, Wilton and a growing Sustainable Engineering consultancy. You will also support
existing bio-fermentation facilities, currently at scales from 10 to 10,000 litres.
The Company
The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is a technology innovation centre working in the Sustainable Processing and
Printable Electronics industries. The centre uses market knowledge and technology understanding to develop and prototype
products and processes quickly and efficiently with minimal risk to its public and private sector partners.
CPI builds and provides assets to prove concepts and develop and demonstrate technology to reduce the risks of scaling
new processes. We create collaborative partnerships between industry, academia as well as the public and private sectors
to leverage resources and reduce development risks.
