Due to continued expansion and growth within their specialist sector our client now has created an opportunity within
their long standing team as an experienced CNC Programmer and Applications Engineer. We are looking for a talented,
skilled and enthusiastic person to work with the technical team to develop CNC machining applications as a member of the
development team. You will have a CNC machining background with a sound knowledge of programming and must be able to
demonstrate a good standard of off-line programming skill - ideally on the NX CAD/CAM platform (formerly Unigraphics)
although relevant experience on other systems will be considered. An interest in, and aptitude for computer programming
in other languages (e.g. VB.NET) is essential. This vacancy is an opportunity to join our very experienced team of
engineers in the development of high-technology machining applications and will suit an ambitious and enthusiastic
engineer with a manufacturing background with a propensity towards computer programming. The position provides excellent

UK and internationally. Responsibilities *Applications engineering and CNC program development for a diverse range of
applications (Aerospace, F1, tooling, fixtures, etc.) *Development of customised solutions to programming, applications
and process related manufacturing problems *Liaise with colleagues to develop and agree technical requirements,
priorities, timescales, etc. *Where required, test, prove, debug and optimise machining processes by using in-house
multi-axis CNCmachining centres *Maintain a clean, efficient and safe working environment. Requirements *Intimate
knowledge of CNC programming *Good all round machine shop experience *Basic academic engineering qualifications (HNC or
equivalent) as required to perform CNC programming / basic maths / trigonometry / computer programming functions.
*Probably apprentice trained (though not necessarily - depending on relevance of other experience) *Offline CNC
programming experience (preferably in NX but experience in other similar systems may be considered) *Interest /
experience in VB.NET or other programming languages *Methodical approach to work and good attention to detail *An ability
