IT Support Consultant in Wimbledon, South West London.
An IT Support Consultant is sought to join this leading Microsoft Gold Partner, to monitor and maintain the computer
systems and support their clients, particularly in the migration of their in-house servers to the Microsoft Office365
infrastructure.
The technology to be supported will include SharePoint, Exchange servers, development servers and a small VM
Infrastructure.
The company is a rapidly growing UK leading Enterprise Project Management consultancy. They specialise in helping clients
deploy Microsoft Solutions based on SQL, Project Server, and SharePoint. They do this through technology deployment,
process development and advisory services, training and change management.
TITLE: IT Support Consultant
SALARY: 22k - 25k per annum
LOCATION: Wimbledon, South West London (SW20)
BENEFITS: Bonus, healthcare and share scheme, free parking
The IT Support Consultant role includes the following responsibilities:
- Providing internal and external support with SharePoint, Exchange servers, development servers and a VM Infrastructure
- Monitoring and maintaining the computer systems of the organisation
- Client support
- Effective communication at all levels within the organisation and with clients
The ideal IT Support Consultant will possess the following skills and experience:
- MCTS qualification for Exchange
- Experience of installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Desktop support experience
- Excellent communication skills, both with staff and clients
The following skills and experiences would be advantageous, but are not essential:
- Experience with Microsoft Office365 environment or other hosted / cloud offerings
- Microsoft SharePoint administration experience
- Experience of VM Ware, SQL Servers, Enterprise systems and other Microsoft technologies
