An exciting company that run a niche social platform are looking for an expert Ruby on Rails Developer. You will have built and deployed commercial Ruby on Rails applications that scale and have the ability to hit the ground running.
This role can involve a significant amount of working from home.
Skills and Experience
Detailed knowledge of Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of Javascript , jQuery, Prototype, AJAX and JSON
Experience with XHTML and CSS
Good Test writing skills. Selenium, Cucumber and RSpec
Database proficiency (SQL)
Experience deploying application on JRuby using Warbler, Tomcat, Apache and Windows
At least 3+ years experience developing web applications
Development experience on Windows platforms
Excellent organization, documentation and communication skills
