3rd line Support- (Microsoft, EMC, VMWare, NETAPP, Commvault or Unix)- £30,000 to £35,000- Glasgow x3


An opportunity has arisen at one of Europe's most exciting IT Services companies. Based in Glasgow my client is looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd line support specialist to join their thriving division. Due to the acqusition of a number of new contracts my client is looking to expand the team by an additional 3 people. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to move into management, Pre-Sales and/or Architecture.


The role we are offering is 2nd/3rd line support with remote monitoring and administration of customer systems. The candidate will also be involved in the management of hosted systems in our Data Centre. The role is being offered due to continued growth of the support and Managed Services business.


At this time we are looking for candidates with a strong working knowledge of ONE or more of the following technologies:

NetApp
Microsoft Exchange 2007 and 2010
EMC
Unix and Solaris
Backup Technologies (CommVault Netbackup, BackupExec, NetVault)


Additionally we are looking for candidates with virtualisation experience particularly VMware configuration and support. We would expect candidates to be VCP4 accredited. Strong Unix knowledge what also be an advantage .

Finally, we would also be interested to interview candidates with Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 installation and support experience in a clustered environment.

We would be very interested to interview candidates with experience of two or more of the technologies outlined above.

Previous experience of 2nd or 3rd line helpdesk support would be advantageous.
