Based in the town of Coventry this 11-18 Secondary School are seeking to appoint a Design and Technology teacher to a 2 term post. The role is to start in September 2012 and is full time, requiring the successful applicant to teach Design and Technology to all age ranges. The school have high expectations of Pupils and Staff and you will embrace this ethos, ensuring that current standards are maintained and built upon.

The school have an innovative approach to the curriculum and always endeavour to tailor programmes of study to meet the individual needs of the students. As a result of this and many other initiatives, examination results have continued to improve year on year in Key Stage 4 and 5. The school have an excellent reputation locally and were graded "good" by OFSTED earlier this year.

The school includes facilities geared towards learning in the 21st century, such as an Information Technology infrastructure which provides a virtual learning environment in each curriculum area. There is a state-of-the-art theatre, with control room, recording studio and associated practice rooms. Students work in spacious rooms, equipped to a high specification, which undoubtedly creates a climate for further academic achievement and success.
