Found in the LEA of Warwickshire in the South of the LEA this 2 form entry primary school are seeking to appoint an outstanding year 6 teacher to join their team of staff from September 2012 for a 1 year contract. The role is that of a full time year 6 teacher and you will be required to teach all curriculum subjects. You will have excellent year 6 curriculum knowledge and be confident in supporting your pupils through their year 6 SATS.

The school is well situated, on a large site, and with excellent transport links, with the local train station a short walk away whilst there are a number of bus routes that pass either close to the school or that stop just outside the school gates. The school has an excellent reputation locally, boasting good results traditionally in both year 2 and year 6 SATS. You will be committed to ensuring that these results continue into the future, investing your time and passion into guiding your year 6 pupils through the last stage of their primary education.

This role will require you to take full responsibility for a Year 6 class comprising 29 pupils from a mixed background both culturally, socially and economically. The schools diverse population make this an exciting and stimulating environment, with every day being a new challenge and experience. Ability levels are also mixed though are generally above the national average. In class you will be supported by a very capable level 2 teaching assistant.
