Head of Infrastructure

Major Real Estate Management firm is seeking highly skilled and experienced candidate for their Head of Infrastructure. Need to have extensive experience with building a window environment from scratch, and have experience expanding and maintaining it. Must be a hands on Infrastructure manager in the current and past roles.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee all technical and physical assets to ensure efficient, effective, reliable and secure technical operations.

* Provides expert direction and oversight for major decisions around architecture and manages the deployment of new infrastructure.

* Ensure high availability and performance for all technology while managing a team of resources who provide fast, high quality and reliable service and support.

* Develop and oversee execution of IT infrastructure strategy to support Company's business strategy and growth goals.

* Manage a team of 10 to conduct implementation, integration, service and support of physical technology for business users.

* Develop budget associated with the information technology and communications systems and work with the CTO and CFO to ensure appropriate and rapid approval.

* Approve major contracts with vendors for all technology, communications, and information systems, service and equipment purchases/leases.

* Recruit, lead and develop key members of the infrastructure organization.

* Oversee strategy and management of all major service categories.

* Network management

* Servers and Storage Management

* Voice Systems

* End user computing (PCs, LANs/Wi-Fi, printers, phones and PDAs

* Oversee development and approve IT policies, standards and best practices.

Requirements:

* 10+ years. experience in IT Infrastructure Management.

* Expert with multiple languages and tools and expert in merging technologies.

* Must be a hands on Infrastructure Manager who can roll up his sleeves and get out on the floor with his team and configure if needed.

* Experience of network/systems security required as in experience with MS technologies including Office, Exchange, SQL, IIS and others.

* Systems Architecture and Records management experience is preferred.

* Bachelor's degree is required.
