Mobile Applications Architect

Fulltime

110-115k Plus 16% bonus and stock options

No third party resumes.

Global fortune 500 companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile applications architect to provide subject matter expertise in Mobile application development.

Responsibilities:

* Maintains in depth up to date knowledge of mobile application standards, guidelines, industry trends.

* Identity the opportunity to leverage and expand the current mobile application framework.

* Evaluate and select mobile vendors to fit the company's mobile development needs.

* Collaborate with enterprise architects in other architectural areas to ensure comprehensive/cohesive working solutions are developed across architectures.

* Supports ITF service managers with the consideration, design and implementation of services within the Security and Access platforms.

* Assists with the internal App Store direction, processes and strategy.

* Design and deliver proof of concept for new or improved enterprise wide application infrastructure technologies that are used across multiple areas of the business (eg Mobile Middleware, Platform as a Service, new Mobile framework, mobile security testing tools)

* May participate in the interviewing process for new team members.

Requirements:

* 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years. hands on delivering mobile solutions including the planning, design, implementation/deployment and operational transition of solutions.

* Advanced skills in mobile technology: cross platform development frameworks (native, hybrid and web), platform knowledge on iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows, Mobile device management etc.

* Proven mobile application architecture design experience, familiar with industry best practices such as Apple, HIG, OWASP, etc.

* Advanced skills in Back End Middleware technologies: SOA, REST, JASON, HTML5, multiple tier architecture.

* Working knowledge on application infrastructure: Mobile device features, networking (bandwidth, latency), Back End server set up (HA, availability, supportability, capacity etc.) security (both on mobile device and Back End Servers)

* Familiarity with ITIL operating models.

* Experience in multi-national/global organizations.

* BS in Computer Science, Information technology, Mathematics or other technical degree.
