Major trading firm is seeking a highly skilled and experience Java PL/SQL Developer to design with team lead experience to develop in web based technologies on the Front End, proprietary Java based CORBA distributed Middleware/server component framework and Oracle PL/SQL Scripting on the Back End.
Responsibilities:
* Work with end users to gather and define/refine functional requirements.
* Producing project documentation-high level charter, functional requirements, and technical design and test documents.
* Design, code, test, and implement Java based monitoring systems and PL/SQL batch based surveillance applications with Web GUI components.
* Working closely with infrastructure team on server systems design and DA/DBA/DW teams on the database design and set up.
* Provide ongoing application support to end users and communicating technical information clearly to an end user audience.
* Participate in production 24/7 on call support rotation.
Requirements:
* Min of 8-10 years. of experience in software systems or applications development.
* Must have 8 years. of Java development experience
* Lead experience in a current role.
* 3 years of PL/SQL development experience.
* Strong analytical and design abilities, self motivated, highly multi-tasking, dynamic and adapts to changing business needs.
* Bachelor's degree required.
