Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Galena Park (Houston), TX

Salary: Competitive

Status: Contract

Restriction: Position is only open to candidates eligible to work in the USA

Education:

* B.S. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Experience

* Must have a minimum of 3 years work experience, 5 to 15 yers preferred.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

* Design of petrochemical, plant/industrial equipment and facilities. Experience in a refinery, terminal or pipeline preferred.

Candidates experience should include:
o Hydrualics calculations for sizing piping and pumps to include assembling data, perfoming hand calculations and computer assisted calculations with Crance, Companion, and Bentley Proflow
o Piping stress calculations including assembling data and apllying appropriate design parameters/conditions and code requirements using hand calculations and Bentley AUTOPIPE.
o Working with/directing CAD designers who will complete construction drawings, PFD/s, P&ID's, for assigned projects.
o Reviewing/editing/creating construction specifications
o Selecting materials and equipment, and filling out equipment datasheets for procurement and reviewing submittals os same prior to purchase.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook and Project

* Proficiency in Bentley AUTOPIPE

* Proficiency in Bentley PROFLOW

A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid Texas driver's license are required. This position may require some travel within the continental United States and Canada.
