Senior Software Developer - Cambridge - DOE

Key Skills:
Extensive programming in C/C++.
Demonstrable teamwork abilities.
In addition you will have EITHER hands-on experience with machine learning / classification algorithms OR experience with hands-on implementation, verification and optimization of real-time computer vision systems.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate some of the following:
Object-oriented software design and development
Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
Experience with algorithms for the identification of objects in real-world scenes.
Experience with algorithms for environment mapping, for example SLAM, PTAM.
Understanding of 2D and 3D tracking algorithms including practical experience using 1 or more tracking systems.
An understanding of natural feature detection and description algorithms, for example SIFT, SURF, and FERNS.
Experience with processing combined image and depth camera data.
Experience with 3D modelling and rendering for Augmented/Virtual Reality
Experience with graphics rendering (e.g. OpenGL) and GPU computing (e.g. OpenCL, CUDA)
Experience with Matlab for Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Familiarity with source control systems.
Familiarity with build process tools and continuous integration systems
