On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced a Field Services Technician for a contract position (3months) in Zurich.

Duties and Responsibilities:
o Prepare and check transmission paths and upgrades: patching, end-to-end connectivity testing
o Hardware upgrade on site (card changes, card insertions)
o Connectivity between equipments (Tellabs BTS)
o Software upgrade on site (download of config files, re-commissioning of site, in cooperation with the RAN and IP specialists)
o Tests and checks (in coordination with the RAN and IP specialists)
o Logistics (handling of dismantled or faulty parts)

Mandatory Requirements:
o Nokia/NSN FlexiBTS equipment (very good know-how, troubleshooting experience on these equipments required)
o Nokia/NSN Ultrasite Node B equipments (good know how, troubleshooting experience on these equipments required)
o Tellabs T-8605 Routers (no deep know-how required, but a plus)
o Know-how in IP (IP addresses, subnet masks, tests in IP Networks)
o Good know-how on Microwave links
o Handling of optical fibres
o General know-how of mobile network and transmission topology
o Ability to climb on masts (incl. necessary equipment and certificates) is a must
o Autonomous/independent, able to work alone
o Fluent in English language (contacts with offshored teams)
